Girl Child Project
We at The Seraphine Outreach have taken it upon ourselves as our responsibility to educate and empower the girl child all over Africa. We are very passionate about the girl child especially adolescent girls in secondary schools
We have a project called “THE GIRL CHILD“. It is rather unfortunate that many of the girl children of today who will become wives and mothers tomorrow are carelessly raised, neglected and not motivated.
She is seen as a sex toy and baby-making machine sometimes forgetting that she has dreams and aspirations and needs to fulfill her purpose in life and of course, contribute her quota to the growth and economic development of her nation. Many of the societal problems connect her directly or indirectly. We cannot deny the fact that God has made us male and female so that we can complement each other but shoving females aside has affected not just productivity but also the progress of African Nations.
The girl child needs protection, direction, and motivation. The girl child all over the world deserves to be impacted, uplifted and celebrated. We at The Seraphine Outreach have taken it upon ourselves as our responsibility to educate and empower the girl child all over Africa. We are very passionate about the girl child especially adolescent girls in secondary schools. We believe that they can be transformed before they become youths and adults. To save the girl child:
- We say no to sexual and every form of abuse to the girl child
- We educate the girl child to desist from every form of self-destructive habits like improper use of time, premarital sex, prostitution, masturbation, drug abuse/addiction, indecent dressing, materialism, lesbianism, lack of focus, and careless lifestyle.
- We encourage and motivate the girl child to be all that god has made her to be. To believe in God and herself and to pursue whatever career or profession of her dreams because it is achievable.
- We present as many of them that pass through us as ambassadors to the world!
Our Programs for the Girl Child
- The girl child is equipped and empowered. (Every last Saturday of the month. Time 2-5pm)
- Save the girl child from self-destructive habits (visit to schools and communities)
- United Nations International Day of the Girl Child. (October 11th)
We have consistently celebrated and impacted the girl child all over the country. We have gone to many nooks and crannies of Nigeria to save the girl child. We have raised ambassadors who are currently married and some in different higher institutions all over the world. We shall not relent until we see the girl child free and settled.
